Dear Stella Rose,
Papa was working overtime on Saturday, so Grumpa and Lola stayed with mama until papa got home. Then they headed back to Lowell to give mama and papa some time to spend together. It was such a blessing to have them there with mama.
Saturday was the first day for Alere, the home healthcare company, to come to the house. They brought a big box with the monitoring machine in it. Mama had to sign a waiver that she would be responsible to pay $5,000 if the machine wasn't returned or if it was damaged! Whoa!
You were still looking great on the monitor! Mama's blood pressure was great, too!
After Grumpa and Lola went back to Lowell, mama and papa stayed busy through the Memorial Day weekend watching movies and playing games.
Auntie Eree told mama of a really fun game to play with papa...Monopoly Deal.
Mama beat papa 3 times in a row, so mama thought that was why he never wanted to play again! :)
Mama and papa also played Super Mario Brothers Wii together. Papa beat the game a long time ago, but it was still fun to play because multiple players can play and be on the screen at the same time.
Mama and papa's really good friends, Jon and Heather, (who will also be like an aunt and uncle to you) wanted to do something for mama and papa while mama was on bed rest. Since they were still living in Nebraska, they thought of a really great idea to do something for them from afar. Netflix! Mama and papa could order movies online and they would be shipped to the house. There was even a selection of movies they could watch instantly with the instant streaming disk that goes right into the Wii! It was very thoughtful of them!
It was a nice relaxing weekend for mama and papa to just relax and spend time together!
Love,
Mama & Papa
