Dear Stella Rose,
Mama has loved having conversations with her nurses. Today mama's nurse had mentioned something about her husband being a youth pastor at their church, so mama shared with her about how papa was going to be starting a new internship and how he was directing the 5th and 6th grade camp at Camp Allendale all week.
It was really cool to have a conversation with her about the way God moves throughout your life, sharing and living out your faith, and trust and obedience to God. They talked for over an hour, again without any interruptions! It's neat how God allows those conversations to happen! It was very encouraging to both mama and her nurse.
Her nurse even told mama that she enjoyed talking with her and apologized if she was too personal. She said how you're not really supposed to bring up stuff like that to your patients and it was nice to actually have a conversation like that. She said she felt like she was talking to a good friend, and mama felt that way, too.
It's been very encouraging to have personable nurses that mama can actually talk about things that really matter in this life. God will put people in your path, for even just a short while, for you to encourage or to bring encouragement to you!
Love,
Mama & Papa
